Roślina bardzo łatwa w uprawie.
Preferuje stanowiska jasne, nasłonecznione. Najlepszym podłożem dla juki jest mieszanina ziemi kompostowej, torfu i gruboziarnistego piasku. W miesiącach letnich można roślinę trzymać na świeżym powietrzu. Przez cały rok juka może przebywać w temperaturze pokojowej.
Jukę podlewamy zależnie od potrzeb, używamy do tego celu wody odstanej. Roślina nie wymaga dużej ilości wody, należy podlewać ją umiarkowanie, znosi dobrze okresowe przesuszenie; zbyt obfite podlewanie może spowodować gnicie korzeni i więdnięcie liści. W okresie zimy najlepiej ograniczyć podlewanie do niezbędnego minimum.
Nawożenie stosować od kwietnia do sierpnia raz w tygodniu. Nawóz najlepiej podać z wodą podczas podlewania.
